Rumors of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A17 5G have been circulating, with reports suggesting that the device will feature optical image stabilization for its main camera. However, a recent Geekbench listing has revealed that the Galaxy A17 5G will come equipped with the same Exynos 1330 chipset as its predecessor, the Galaxy A16 5G.

The Exynos 1330 chipset, also known as the S5E8535, is a 5nm processor with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It is paired with a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU and supports both LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 RAM.

Despite the lack of a chipset upgrade, the Galaxy A17 5G is expected to offer various RAM and storage configurations, as well as support for 1080p+ displays up to 120Hz. The device is also rumored to run Android 15 with Samsung's One UI 7 pre-installed.
