After more than four years, Huawei has made a strong comeback in the Chinese smartphone market, reclaiming the top spot in the second quarter of 2025. Despite a slight decline in shipments, Huawei secured an 18.1% market share with the release of its latest flagship Pura 80 series. Xiaomi emerged as the fourth largest smartphone shipper in China during the same period, experiencing growth in shipments while Apple slipped to fifth place.
