Google has chosen to stick with the same Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset for the upcoming Pixel Watch 4, but is opting for a larger battery capacity compared to its predecessors. The 41mm model will see a 20mAh increase to 327mAh, while the 45mm model will have a 39mAh boost to 459mAh. This change in battery size is expected to accommodate for the bulkier body design of the new Pixel Watch 4, which will also come in a choice of sizes, colors, and band options including leather, Active Sport, and metal mesh bands. Additionally, the Pixel Watch 4 will be available in both Bluetooth and 4G variants. Despite the use of the same chipset, Google is likely focusing on enhancing user experience and customization with this new wearable device. Stay tuned for its release alongside the Pixel 10 series.
