Honor is set to unveil its latest smartphone, the X70, with a highly anticipated waterproof test using an excavator and fire hose. The brand has been teasing the phone's durability ahead of its official launch on July 15.
In a video demonstration, the Honor X70 is attached to a Sany SY205C-S excavator's bucket and subjected to various challenges. Despite being exposed to dirt, hit by the excavator's bucket, and even pressed by it, the phone emerges unscathed. Additionally, a fire hose is used to shoot water directly at the phone, showcasing its IP69 and IP69K water resistance ratings.
Aside from its impressive durability, the Honor X70 is expected to feature a massive 8,300 mAh battery, a 6.79-inch OLED screen, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and MagicOS 9.
