T-Mobile and Verizon have long been engaged in a battle over which company offers the best overall mobile network. Recently, connectivity insights firm Opensignal conducted a comprehensive analysis that seems to have settled the debate once and for all.
T-Mobile confidently declared that according to tests conducted by Ookla between Q4 2024 and Q1 2025, it had emerged as the top mobile network provider in the US. This marked a significant milestone for T-Mobile as it claimed superiority in the majority of metrics for the first time.
Verizon swiftly fired back, asserting that it maintained the fastest and most reliable network in the country, citing RootMetrics' evaluation as evidence of its dominance over T-Mobile.
