macOS Tahoe Developer Beta 2 Introduces Fixes and Enhancements

The macOS Tahoe Developer Beta 2 has been released with a variety of fixes and improvements. One notable change is the restoration of the normal Finder app icon, reverting back to its original colors after receiving feedback from users. Additionally, a new option has been added in System Settings to toggle the menu bar background, allowing users to switch between the Liquid Glass look and a frosted background.

Furthermore, users can now enroll in beta testing for AirPods firmware directly from their Mac by connecting their AirPods and accessing the Bluetooth menu in System Settings. The update also includes various smaller tweaks and updates across the macOS Tahoe system.

Another notable addition is the Recovery Assistant feature, originally introduced in iOS 26, now available on Mac as well. While unconfirmed, there are reports that booting macOS Tahoe from an external drive may be simplified in the new beta.
