Apple has listened to user feedback and made significant improvements to the new Liquid Glass effect in iOS 26 beta 2. The latest update addresses issues with Control Center blur, transparency options, and overall readability.

Control Center now features a more pronounced blur option, utilizing a darker background and increased blur to enhance legibility. The Reduce Transparency setting in the Accessibility menu has also been adjusted to make menu items and icons easier to read.

Safari has seen a repositioned new tab button and the Wallet app now supports package tracking. Siri can even scan emails to locate tracking numbers. Additionally, the App Store has introduced a dedicated Accessibility section, and new features include a "Alt 1" ringtone and a Live Radio widget in Apple Music.

Apple is gearing up to launch the iOS 26 public beta next month, with the final consumer version scheduled for release later this fall.
