Exclusive Look at the Redmi K80 Ultra's Internal Components

The Redmi K80 Ultra, a highly anticipated flagship smartphone set to launch in China, has already been reviewed and disassembled by tech bloggers. Despite not being officially announced yet, some bloggers have provided insights into the device's features and internals.

One of the popular teardown experts, WekiHome, dismantled the Redmi K80 Ultra and provided a detailed look at its internal components. The device features a fiberglass back with a frosted finish, a quad curved metal frame, and a metal camera island. The front boasts a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with symmetrical bezels, manufactured by TCL and protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass.

Upon removing the back plate, the motherboard and a large thermal pad covering the battery are visible. The device does not include wireless charging. The teardown also reveals thermal pads and copper foil on the main section of the motherboard, as well as copper foil on the main camera module to manage thermals.

The Redmi K80 Ultra is powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, Micron LPDDR5X RAM, and Samsung UFS 4.1 storage. It features AAC 1115 coaxial stereo speakers and a X-axis linear vibration motor. The device houses a 7,410mAh silicon-carbon battery with Xiaomi's Hyper G1 battery management chip.
