Samsung's long-standing partnership with Google for manufacturing the Tensor chips has come to an end as Google opts for TSMC for the upcoming generations of Tensor chips. This decision has caught Samsung executives off guard, prompting them to regroup and strategize for the future.

While Samsung still produces chips for its Exynos division, the shift in alliances by Google marks a significant change in the semiconductor industry.
