Rumors about the camera setup of the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Pro have been circulating, with the latest speculation indicating a shift from dual telephoto lenses on its predecessor to a single powerful 200 MP snapper.
New information from China has surfaced, shedding light on the telephoto camera of the Find X9 Pro. Contrary to the Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor commonly used in Chinese flagship devices, Oppo's new device will feature the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a previously unused sensor in periscope telephoto cameras. Although slightly smaller in size at 1/1.56", the HP5 sensor is expected to deliver quality shots at 10x zoom, with some limitations beyond that range. It is suggested that the single periscope setup may not match the capabilities of the dual periscopes found in the Find X8 Pro.
Alongside the telephoto camera, the Find X9 Pro will boast a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. The device is anticipated to be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.
