The latest information on MediaTek's upcoming flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9500, has been revealed through its Geekbench scoresheet. The chipset is expected to launch ahead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, possibly in early to mid-September.

According to the Geekbench data, the Dimensity 9500 will feature a 1x Travis X930 main core clocked at 3.23 GHz, 3x Alto cores running at 3.03 GHz, and 4x Gelas cores ticking at 2.23 GHz. The Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU, clocked at 1000 MHz, will handle the graphics processing.

This information aligns with previous leaks from April, confirming the presence of all eight cores in the chipset. However, there seems to be a discrepancy regarding the GPU, which was originally rumored to be Immoralis-Drage.

Additionally, reports indicate that the new NPU in the Dimensity 9500 will offer significantly higher performance, boasting a capability of delivering 100 TOPS.

As the chipset continues to make appearances on benchmark databases in the upcoming weeks and months, tech enthusiasts can expect more detailed insights into its performance and capabilities.
