Google is set to unveil the Pixel 10 series of smartphones on August 20, and rumors suggest that the telephoto camera in these devices will be getting a new feature. The telephoto camera will now have the ability to take macro shots, providing users with the option to capture close-up details with precision.
In addition to the tele-macro feature, Google will also continue to include ultrawide cameras with autofocus in the Pixel 10 lineup. These ultrawide cameras will also have macro capabilities, allowing users to choose between the telephoto and ultrawide lenses for capturing close-up shots. The ultrawide lens will be able to focus closer than the telephoto lens, making it a versatile option for macro photography.
The Pixel 10 devices are expected to be released on August 28 and will be powered by the new Tensor G5 SoC, offering improved performance and efficiency compared to previous models. Google is also introducing new color options for the Pixel 10 series and all devices will support Qi wireless charging, with magnetic attachments provided by Google's cases.
