Rumors are swirling about the upcoming launch date of the highly anticipated OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5. According to a tipster on X, the new smartphones are rumored to be unveiled on July 8. The Nord 5 is expected to be the successor to the Nord 4, while the Nord CE5 will follow its predecessor, the CE4, which was released in April of 2024.
Leaks suggest that the Nord 5 will feature a flat OLED screen with "1.5K" resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is said to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400e SoC and will boast a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 16 MP selfie camera, and a massive 7,000 mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging.

On the other hand, the Nord CE5 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch flat OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 16 MP selfie camera, and a 7,100 mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.
