Apple has announced exciting new features for the AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and AirPods Pro 2 at the Worldwide Developers Conference. Users can now enjoy studio-quality audio recording, perfect for content creators on the go. With Voice Isolation technology, recordings will have better sound quality even in noisy environments.
In addition to enhanced audio recording, Apple promises improved call quality with more natural vocal texture and clarity on iPhone calls, FaceTime, and CallKit-enabled apps. These features work seamlessly when connected to an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, as well as with various apps like Camera, Voice Memos, and video conferencing platforms.
Furthermore, AirPods users can look forward to a convenient camera remote function. By pressing and holding the AirPods stem, users can easily take photos or start and stop video recordings while using the Camera app or compatible third-party camera apps on their iPhone or iPad.
These exciting new features will be available through the Apple Beta Software Program next month, and will be officially released as part of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26.
