Google's Gemini has recently rolled out a new feature called scheduled actions, which allows users to streamline routine tasks and receive personalized updates directly from the Gemini app.
With scheduled actions, users can set specific tasks to be performed at designated times or create recurring actions. A dedicated Scheduled Actions page has been added to the Settings section for easy management.
Among the various possibilities, users can wake up to a summary of their calendar and unread emails, receive weekly blog ideas, get updates on favorite sports teams, or even request a summary of an upcoming award show from Gemini. The potential applications are limitless.
It is important to note that scheduled actions are currently available to subscribers of Google AI Pro or Ultra, as well as qualifying Google Workspace business and education plans.
