Honor is rumored to be gearing up for the release of the MagicPad 3, the successor to the MagicPad 2 tablet. Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming device will come with a significant change in its display technology, opting for an LCD screen instead of OLED.
According to sources from China, the MagicPad 3 is expected to feature a 13.2" LCD screen with a high refresh rate, similar to its predecessor. The tablet is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with configurations offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of storage.
Other rumored features include 66W wired charging support and color options in Moon Shadow White, Floating Gold, and Starry Sky Gray. The switch from OLED to LCD display technology has sparked some controversy among potential buyers, as it could impact the overall user experience.
While the MagicPad 3 is expected to offer improvements in screen size and processing power, the pricing strategy for the new device remains a point of interest for consumers. The official launch of the Honor MagicPad 3 is anticipated by the end of the month.
