Huawei recently announced the upcoming launch of four new smartphones and a new smartwatch, set to debut in China on June 11. The new smartphones, known as Pura 80, come in different models including Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and Pura 80 Ultra. Additionally, Huawei also confirmed the release of the Watch 5 alongside the new smartphones.
The Pura 80 series is expected to feature versatile camera systems, with leak reports suggesting some impressive specs. The Pura 80 Ultra, for example, is rumored to boast a 50-megapixel 1-inch main camera sensor with a variable aperture, as well as a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera lens. These details indicate that Huawei is aiming to deliver high-quality photography capabilities with its new lineup.
Despite some similarities to the previous Pura 70 series, the Pura 80 models are anticipated to offer notable upgrades and improvements. However, there have been delays in the release schedule, with the new smartphones not expected to be available for purchase until July, suggesting potential challenges in the production and launch process.
