In response, residents formed the group "Spring Lake Against 5G Towers" to address their worries about how the towers could impact their homes and historic neighborhood.
Kelley Badishkanian, a founding member of the group, emphasized the importance of community input and ensuring that any settlement addresses their concerns.
Despite opposition from Verizon, the residents are determined to have a say in the placement of the 5G towers and protect their community.
