Apple is rumored to be making significant changes to the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup, with the exception of the base model. While the standard iPhone 17 may miss out on an upgraded processor, the rest of the models are set to level up with new chips and features. According to a recent leak, the base iPhone 17 model is likely to stick with the A18 chip, similar to the current iPhone 16. On the other hand, the iPhone 17 Air and Pro models are expected to come equipped with the A19 and A19 Pro chips, respectively. Additionally, the iPhone 17 may only come with 8GB of RAM, while the Air and Pro models could offer 12GB for increased performance. Despite the potential lack of processor upgrade, the iPhone 17 is rumored to feature a larger display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an improved 24MP front camera. The iPhone 17 series is anticipated to be unveiled in September.
