A recent rumor suggests that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 may be released without a price increase in most regions. This unexpected move comes in a year of economic challenges that have led many other tech companies to raise prices due to various factors such as inflation and rising costs. According to a new report, a reliable leaker claims that both the new foldable devices will maintain the same price points as their predecessors in 2024. This means the Z Flip 7 could be priced around $999 and the Z Fold 7 at $1799 in the United States, unless there are exceptions in certain regions where prices might vary.

the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will run One UI 8 out of the box, based on Android 16. This indicates Samsung's effort to align its foldable devices with the overall Galaxy ecosystem focusing on AI technology. Z Flip 7 might feature the Exynos 2500 chipset in select markets, marking a departure from the previous Flip models that exclusively used Snapdragon processors. On the other hand, the Z Fold 7 is expected to continue utilizing Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon processor across all markets. The new models are set to bring improvements such as a complete external display on the Z Flip 7, enhanced battery efficiency, upgraded cameras, and deeper integration of Galaxy AI features.
