With Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) just around the corner, details have emerged regarding the tech giant's plans to limit AI announcements and reveal the name for macOS 26. Alongside these updates, a new gaming app is also set to debut at the event.

At WWDC 25, Apple is expected to showcase its Apple Foundation Models on-device AI for third-party developers, while also introducing iOS 26 with features like a new battery power management mode and a revamped Translate app. Additionally, macOS 26, codenamed "Tahoe," will bring a fresh visual identity inspired by visionOS.

A highlight of the event will be the rollout of a centralized gaming app that will replace Apple Game Center, offering players a central hub for accessing games, leaderboards, and communication with other players across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS.
