Honor has recently rolled out the latest version of MagicOS, version 9.0.0.175, specifically designed for the Honor Magic6 series. This update brings significant enhancements to the gaming performance with the introduction of the Phantom Engine. Alongside improvements to the user interface and AI-powered photo editing tools, the Phantom Engine aims to provide a stable and immersive gaming experience for users.

The Phantom Engine comes to the Honor Magic6 series

The Phantom Engine, a feature previously found in the Honor GT models, is designed to predict heavy frames during gameplay and allocate additional resources for rendering, thereby reducing stutter and enhancing overall gaming performance. Games such as Genshin Impact, Honor of Kings, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero are among those supported by the Phantom Engine.

Furthermore, the update includes various other features such as AI-based photo editing tools to remove reflections and wrinkles, customizable lockscreen options, improved screen recording and screenshot functionalities, and the ability to block calls from specific regional numbers to combat spam calls.
