Following their global unveiling in Paris, Honor has made several spec changes to the 400 series phones specifically for the Chinese market. At a local launch event, the Honor 400 and 400 Pro were introduced with unique features catered to Chinese consumers.

One notable change is the adoption of 6.55-inch AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate, making the Chinese Honor 400 Pro more compact than the global version. Additionally, the Honor 400 now runs on the updated Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, replacing the previous Gen 3 chip, providing enhanced performance.

Both phones boast impressive camera capabilities, including a 200MP main shooter and 12MP ultrawide lens. The Pro variant also features a 50MP 3x telephoto lens for advanced photography. Moreover, the Honor 400 and 400 Pro now come equipped with 7,200mAh batteries for prolonged usage.

Both models are IP68 and IP69 rated for water and dust resistance, providing added durability. The phones are available in Sea Breeze Blue, Moonlight Silver, and Magic Night Black colors, along with a new Quicksand Pink variant.
Prices for the Honor 400 start at CNY 2,499 ($347) for the base model, while the Honor 400 Pro begins at CNY 3,399 ($472). Both phones are now listed on Honor's official webstore in China, with shipping commencing on June 6.
