Samsung has officially launched its new Tap to Transfer feature for Galaxy users in the U.S. This innovative feature allows users to easily send money to friends or family members with a debit card linked to their digital wallet. By simply tapping their phones together, users can initiate the transfer securely and conveniently.
Tap to Transfer supports payments to recipients using Samsung Wallet, Apple Wallet, or Google Wallet. Additionally, users can transfer funds directly to a Mastercard or Visa debit card by tapping their phone with the recipient's card. Samsung has also introduced an Online Transfer option for sending money to users not in the vicinity but within the U.S.
Users can make transactions ranging from $1 to $500, with daily, weekly, and monthly limits in place to ensure secure and controlled transfers. The feature is available on U.S. domestic Samsung phones that are "Samsung Wallet eligible" and running Android 12 or later.
