Apple Reportedly Changing Operating System Naming Scheme and Introducing Visual Overhaul

Apple is rumored to be making significant changes to its operating system naming scheme, aligning them with the upcoming year of release. This shift is expected to be confirmed at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and will apply to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. Alongside this, Apple is also working on a major visual overhaul codenamed Solarium, set to bring a refreshed design language to all its operating systems. The new design is said to be the most substantial since iOS 7 in 2013, and will include features such as external display support for iOS and menu bar integration for iPadOS.
