Introducing the Moto G56 5G: A New Mid-Range Smartphone from Motorola

Source: Date:
Whether intentional or not, Motorola has quietly revealed its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G56 5G, in a couple of European markets. The device, previously leaked extensively, is now officially listed on regional websites in Slovakia and Czech Republic, showcasing its key specifications and high-quality promotional images.
The Moto G56 5G boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, a 50MP primary rear camera with Sony LYTIA 600 sensor, and other impressive features such as a 5,200mAh battery, 30W TurboPower charging, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. The device comes in multiple color options and offers up to 256GB of internal storage.
Despite earlier rumors, the Moto G56 5G is confirmed to sport a 6.67-inch screen, making it a compact choice for users on a budget. The device also promises improved battery life compared to its predecessor, the Moto G55 5G, and maintains a 120Hz refresh rate.
One key detail still not officially confirmed is the pricing of the Moto G56 5G. However, sources suggest a price of €270 in Europe, slightly higher than its predecessor. Unfortunately, the device is unlikely to be released in the US, where Motorola typically offers a more limited product lineup.
While US consumers may miss out on the Moto G56 5G, Motorola continues to cater to the budget 5G market with other models like the Moto G (2025), Moto G Power (2025), and Moto G Stylus (2025). As for the latest G-series leaks, including the G86 and G96, it seems these devices will also bypass the US market.
