Get ready for the latest release from Samsung - the Galaxy Watch8 series. Expected to launch in early July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, the Galaxy Watch8 is rumored to come equipped with the powerful Exynos W1000 chip.
The Exynos W1000 remains a top contender in the smartwatch market, boasting impressive performance with its penta-core CPU setup. It features four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.5 GHz, along with a Cortex-A78 running at up to 1.6 GHz. Paired with a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU and fast LPDDR5 RAM, the W1000 is manufactured using an efficient 3nm GAA process.
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Watch8 series will see the return of the Classic model, with leaked renders showcasing a "squircle" case design similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Both the standard Watch8 and the Watch8 Classic are expected to share the same case shape.
Additional reported specs for the Watch8 Classic include a 46/47mm size with a 1.5” diagonal screen, a 450 mAh battery, and likely running on One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6.
