Samsung has finally begun to roll out its One UI 7 update based on Android 15, much to the excitement of its users. After a lengthy wait, the tech giant has started updating two devices: the Galaxy A25 and the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). This update promises new features and enhancements, alongside the latest security patches, enhancing the overall user experience.
The Galaxy A25 update is approximately 3.5GB in size. Upon installation, users will find themselves on software version A256NKSU5CYE2. Currently, this rollout is limited to Korea, but based on Samsung's previous update patterns, a global release can be expected within a week or two. Importantly, this update includes the May 1, 2025 security patch level, which is an improvement over earlier versions available for other devices, signaling Samsung's commitment to security.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is witnessing a similar update path, currently available in Korea with firmware version P620XXU5BYE5. This update is slightly smaller at 3GB, but it, too, brings the May 1, 2025 security patch level. Users are advised to ensure they have a stable network connection before initiating the download.
