Source: Date:

A recent study on brand loyalty among smartphone users in the United States has revealed that Apple maintains a strong position, with 89% of users choosing to purchase another iPhone when upgrading. While this percentage has seen a slight decline since 2023, Apple's loyalty rate remains unmatched in the industry.

In comparison, Samsung has seen an increase in loyalty, with 76% of users sticking with the brand for their next purchase, up from 68% in 2021. However, the data provided lacks specific details such as sample size and margin of error.

Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) suggests that Apple's ecosystem plays a significant role in retaining users, while the diverse Android market poses challenges for Samsung in building high loyalty rates.

These findings are based on user behavior in the US market, where Apple holds a dominant 52% share, followed by Samsung at 24% and Motorola at 12%.
