The Nothing Phone (1) will no longer be receiving updates to the upcoming Android 16, as confirmed by the company. Despite the disappointment, the phone will still receive security patches going forward.
Launched in 2022 with Android 12 and promised three major OS updates, the Nothing Phone (1) has now reached its limit with Android 15. While security support will continue, users looking for longevity may need to consider other smartphone options.
On the bright side, Nothing is set to unveil the Phone (3) in July, touted as their flagship device and priced around £800.
