Google has officially announced that its AI Mode for Search has graduated from being an experimental feature and is now available to all Google Search users in the US. The AI Mode, which was initially tested with a limited subset of users, promises to offer more advanced reasoning, multimodality, and hyper-relevant results.

Users will now see a new tab for AI Mode in Search and in the search bar of the Google app on mobile devices. This powerful AI search feature will allow users to delve deeper through follow-up questions and helpful links to the web. Additionally, AI Mode will integrate Gemini's frontier capabilities and bring a custom version of Gemini 2.5 to Search.

Some of the new features include Deep Search, which can reason across disparate pieces of information and create fully-cited reports in minutes. AI Mode will also support live interactions through a camera, enabling users to ask questions by pointing the camera at objects.

Furthermore, AI Mode will assist users in booking event tickets, restaurant reservations, and local appointments. It can also facilitate virtual clothing try-ons and make purchases on behalf of users. By connecting with other Google apps like Gmail, AI Mode will provide personalized context and suggestions based on past searches.

Overall, Google aims to enhance the search experience through AI Mode, offering users a more intuitive and personalized way to access information and services.
