After months of anticipation, Google has finally revealed that Samsung's Project Moohan Android XR headset will be available for purchase later this year. The announcement was made during Google's I/O 2025 keynote, where it was confirmed that Project Moohan will be the first Android XR device with "Gemini by your side."
Google also shared that Android XR was a collaborative effort between Samsung and themselves, optimized for Snapdragon with Qualcomm. Since the release of the developer preview last year, hundreds of developers have been working on building for this platform.
With the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip powering Project Moohan, there is much anticipation for the launch of this cutting-edge device.
