Oppo has recently hinted towards an international release for the Reno14 series, originally announced for the Chinese market. This indication comes through Oppo's collaboration with Google's Gemini AI for the Reno14 series. Since Google apps are not available in China, it is speculated that the international release of the Reno14 series is imminent.
Oppo has revealed that Gemini will integrate with Oppo's native apps such as Notes, Calendar, and Clock on the Reno14 devices. This integration will allow Gemini to extract information from these apps and perform actions within them. Similar functionalities have been observed on devices from other brands like Samsung, showcasing the cross-brand adoption of such features.
Additionally, Gemini will support "multi-app journeys" on the Reno14 series. Users can request Gemini to summarize documents and save them directly into Oppo Notes, extract steps from YouTube recipe tutorials and store them in Oppo Notes, or add travel arrangements to Oppo Calendar post booking.
