The long-standing legal feud between Epic Games and Apple over the distribution of iOS apps and games has finally come to an end. After years of litigation, Epic Games has emerged victorious, forcing Apple to make significant changes to its App Store policies.
As a result of this landmark victory, Epic Games can now bypass Apple's 30 percent fee for distributing apps on the App Store. Not only has Fortnite been reinstated on the App Store in the U.S. for iPhones and iPads, but developers can also now direct customers to payment methods outside of the App Store without repercussions.
Furthermore, Fortnite is now available for download on the Epic Games Store and AltStore in the EU, marking a major win for the popular gaming company.
