Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of the highly anticipated Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone, powered by the new Xring O1 chipset. The CEO and founder, Lei Jun, confirmed on social media that the device will be unveiled at an upcoming event along with the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra tablet, both boasting the in-house developed chipset.
The Xring O1 chipset, based on the 3nm process, has already appeared on Geekbench and is set to revolutionize the performance of Xiaomi's flagship devices. Lei Jun revealed that the chip is currently in mass production after Xiaomi invested a significant amount in its development.
According to the early benchmark tests, the Xring O1 chipset is expected to outperform the Snapdragon 8 Elite, offering superior single-core and multi-core performance in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone.
