The latest teardown of the Huawei nova 14 Ultra has revealed the presence of the Kirin 8020 chipset, a variant of the Kirin 9020 found in the Mate 70 series. This new chipset features a 1+3+4 CPU configuration with slightly reduced clock speeds compared to its predecessor. The Kirin 8020 boasts a prime core running at 2.29GHz, three cores at 2.05GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.3GHz. Additionally, it is equipped with the Maleoon 920 GPU with two processing units clocked at 840MHz.

Interestingly, the Kirin 8020 features a 30% larger package area, similar to the Kirin 9010 chip in the Pura 70 series. It is adorned with HiSilicon branding and bears the Hi62B0 identifier. Huawei has also managed to integrate Beidou and Tiantong satellite connectivity into this new chipset, offering enhanced functionality for users.
