New Xiaomi Xring O1 Chipset Impresses in Recent Geekbench Results

Source: Date:

Xiaomi's latest Xring O1 chipset has been making waves in the tech world with its impressive performance in recent Geekbench results. Early comparisons suggested that it could rival the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but the benchmarks now show that it stands toe-to-toe with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Based on leaks and rumors, the Xring O1 is built on a second generation 3nm node and is rumored to feature a powerful CPU configuration including a Cortex-X925 prime core, three A725 performance cores, and four A520 efficiency cores, along with an Imagination GPU.

Leaked Geekbench results from a device believed to be the Xiaomi 15S Pro with the Xring O1 chipset have revealed multi-core scores in the mid-9,000 range and single-core scores ranging from high-2,000s to low-3,000s. This places the Xring O1 just behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite and ahead of the Dimensity 9400 in terms of performance.

Further details from the Geekbench results indicate a 10-core CPU configuration for the Xring O1, with clock speeds up to 3.90GHz. The chipset also boasts an Immortalis-G925 GPU, suggesting impressive graphics performance.

While early benchmarks should be taken with a grain of salt, the upcoming Xiaomi event on May 22 is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 15S Pro featuring the Xring O1 chipset, providing more insights into its performance and capabilities.
