At the recent Computex event in Taiwan, Tecno introduced a range of innovative AI-enabled laptops, including the flagship model Megabook S16. Boasting a sizable 16-inch display, the Megabook S16 is accompanied by other models such as the Megabook S14, T14 Air, K155, and K14S. The 16-inch S16 marks a groundbreaking release for the brand.
Equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900HK CPU featuring 14 cores and 20 threads that can reach speeds of up to 5.4 GHz, the laptop also offers 16 or 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and storage options of up to 2TB of PCIe 3.0 SSD.
The 16-inch display showcases minimal bezels and provides a standard resolution of 1,920 x 1,200px with a 16:10 aspect ratio, covering the full sRGB color gamut.
Despite its large size, the Megabook S16 boasts a lightweight design at 1.3 kg and a slim profile of only 14.9mm.
Powered by a 75Wh battery, Tecno claims a battery life of up to 11 hours for the laptop. Additionally, the device comes equipped with AI functionalities such as AI Gallery, AI Meeting Assistant, Ella AI Assistant, AI PPT, and AI Drawing, supported by DeepSeek's V3 model for enhanced productivity.
Pricing and availability details for Tecno's latest laptop range are yet to be revealed.
