MediaTek recently introduced the Dimensity 9400e, an advanced chipset in the esteemed Dimensity range. Positioned below the 9400 and 9400+ models, the 9400e is a revised version of last year's 9300+ with minor enhancements.

Equipped with MediaTek's All Big Core design, the Dimensity 9400e features a powerful CPU configuration, including 1x 3.4GHz Cortex-X4, 3x 2.85GHz Cortex-X4, and 4x 2.0GHz Cortex-A720 cores, similar to the 9300+. Additionally, the chipset boasts 8MB L3 cache and 10MB SLC, along with support for up to 8533MHz LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4 + MCQ storage. The 9400e also incorporates the 12-core Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU with hardware accelerated ray-tracing capabilities.

While retaining many media and connectivity features from its predecessor, the Dimensity 9400e offers faster Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as support for the latest MediaTek NeuroPilot SDK for advanced AI technologies. Gaming enthusiasts can also benefit from MediaTek HyperEngine, Adaptive Gaming Technology, and the new Frame Rate Converter feature.

Excitingly, leading smartphone brands like OnePlus and Realme have already confirmed their adoption of the Dimensity 9400e. OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus Ace5 Racing Edition in China featuring the chipset, while Realme will include it in the upcoming Realme GT 7 smartphone.
