Lava has unveiled the latest addition to its Shark series with the upcoming release of the Shark 5G model. Leaked renders of the device have surfaced online, showcasing two color options - blue and gold. The Shark 5G boasts a 5G-capable design with prominent "5G" branding on the rear, in addition to the Lava wordmark.
Compared to its predecessor, the Shark 5G features dual rear cameras and a revamped LED flash array. Despite a downgrade in the main camera resolution to 13 MP from the previous 50 MP sensor, the new model promises improved connectivity and performance with 5G support.
Expected to run on Android 15 and powered by the Unisoc T765 SoC, the Shark 5G is speculated to offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. While details on pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, the Shark 5G is positioned as an affordable smartphone option for consumers.
