T-Mobile has recently introduced a loyalty rewards program aimed at long-time subscribers who have been with the carrier for at least five years. However, not all customers are happy with the results. Some users, despite their years of loyalty, are finding themselves excluded from the perks of this new deal due to specific conditions outlined in the fine print.
At first glance, the requirements for qualifying for the free lines include having an account for 5+ years, not already having more than one free line, bringing your own device (no financing), not canceling a voice line in the last 90 days, and not using certain discounts such as Insider Discount, Works Perk, or Hometown Discount. However, some users on discounted plans like Magenta 55+ or military plans are discovering that they are not eligible for the promotion, leaving them feeling left out despite their long-standing loyalty.
While some customers are successfully receiving the free lines and utilizing them to customize their plans, others are facing challenges with the qualification process and credit application. It is advised to keep a close eye on billing statements and reach out to customer service if there are any discrepancies in the promised rewards.
