India's latest smartphone market report reveals a surprising shift in the rankings, with Vivo emerging as the top smartphone vendor in the country. While Samsung and Apple continue their global battle for dominance, Vivo has managed to widen the gap and secure a lead over its competitors.
Apple, Motorola, Nothing, and Google Show Impressive Growth
In addition to Vivo's success, Apple, Motorola, Nothing, and Google have also shown significant year-on-year growth in the Indian market. Apple's iPhone shipments have increased by 23.1%, while Motorola boasts a 54.7% progress. Nothing and Google, despite not making the top ten vendor list, have emerged as top performers compared to last year.
Apple Dominates Premium Segment with iPhone 16 Family
Apple's iPhone 16 lineup, including the "vanilla", Plus, Pro, Pro Max, and e variants, has contributed to the growth of India's premium smartphone segment. The company has set a new record in Q1 with three million units sold, emphasizing its efforts to diversify its product portfolio and expand manufacturing facilities.
