Apple Maps might have had a rough start back in 2012, but it has come a long way since then. While Google Maps is still a popular choice among iPhone users, there is a hidden gem in Apple Maps that sets it apart from its competitor - the Add a Note feature.
In a recent update, Apple introduced the "Notes" feature to Apple Maps, giving users the ability to add personal notes to locations they are navigating to. This feature is unique to Apple Maps and not available on Google Maps. When looking up directions to a place, users can simply tap on the round button with a plus symbol to access the "Add a Note" section.
Once in the note section, users can jot down reminders, recommendations, or any other information they want to remember about a specific location. Whether it's noting a favorite dish at a restaurant or a special parking spot, the Add a Note feature adds a personal touch to navigation.
