Samsung's One UI 7 rollout based on Android 15 has faced delays, but the company is now gearing up for the release of the first beta of One UI 8, which is based on Android 16.
Reports suggest that the beta will be available in the third week of May, earlier than previously rumored, although it will initially be limited to select devices in limited markets. A wider rollout is expected in June.
While the beta program signals progress, it remains to be seen how long it will take for the finalized version of One UI 8 to be released. The update is aimed at refining the One UI experience, following the release of Android 16 by Google.
