Samsung is gearing up to launch the beta program for One UI 8 sooner than expected. According to reports from SamMobile, the beta testing may begin as early as the third week of May. This indicates a proactive approach from Samsung to avoid delays and ensure a smooth rollout of the new software version.

The beta program for One UI 8 may not be available for all devices and markets initially, with only select devices in limited markets getting access. The new iteration of Samsung's custom UI, based on Android 16, is expected to be publicly released in the second half of the year. There are speculations that it may debut with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 foldable phones, or shortly after their launch.
