Samsung Galaxy S26 series rumored to feature Exynos chipset for European models

Rumors suggest that Samsung's upcoming flagship Galaxy S26 series will see a return to using Exynos chipsets, specifically for models launching in Europe. This comes after the Galaxy S25 family was exclusively powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset by Qualcomm due to yield issues with Samsung's own Exynos 2500 SoC.

The decision to utilize the Exynos 2600 chipset for European models may once again place them at a performance disadvantage compared to models powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. The preference for Exynos chips in the European market remains a mystery, but it seems that Samsung is aiming to rectify the losses incurred from not using the Exynos 2500 chipset in the S25 family.

While details are still speculative, it will be interesting to see how the return to Exynos chipsets impacts the performance and market reception of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series.
