Samsung Begins Mass Production of Next-Gen Foldable Phones, Excluding Tri-Fold Model

Source: Date:

According to insider information from Max Jambor, Samsung has commenced mass production of the upcoming Galaxy Z series, with components being produced since mid-February. The new Galaxy Z Flip7 is reported to feature a larger 6.85” inner display and a 4” edge-to-edge cover display, representing an upgrade over its predecessor.

However, there seems to be a delay in the production of Samsung's tri-fold device, internally known as Q7M. Although components have been in production since the end of March, the actual mass production of the tri-fold model has not yet begun. It is speculated that the tri-fold device will be named Galaxy G Fold upon release and will be available in limited quantities in select countries.

Despite the delay in the tri-fold model, Samsung's focus remains on the production of the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 models, aiming to release a significant number of units to meet consumer demand.
