Samsung Upcoming Galaxy S26 Line Rumored to Feature Exynos 2600 Processor

Rumors suggest that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 series may come equipped with the highly anticipated Exynos 2600 processor. Previous models, such as the Galaxy S25, had to replace the Exynos 2500 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite due to poor yields from Samsung Foundry. This move reportedly cost Samsung a significant amount of money. The Exynos 2600 is set to be manufactured on Samsung Foundry's 2nm process node, but initial trial productions have only yielded a 30% success rate. As Samsung works to improve yields, the decision to utilize the Exynos 2600 chip on the Galaxy S26 series may be limited to certain versions.
Tipster @Jukanlosreve has hinted that the Exynos 2600 may only be featured in European variants of the Galaxy S26 and S26+, while US versions could potentially benefit from the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 on a 3nm process node. Samsung aims to avoid another costly swap to Qualcomm's processors, like with the Galaxy S25 line, and must finalize the Exynos 2600 design by the third quarter of this year to potentially power some Galaxy S26 units next year.
