Xiaomi is poised to launch the highly anticipated Redmi Turbo 4 Pro this Thursday, April 24, following the release of the standard Redmi Turbo 4 earlier this year. The company has already teased the upcoming smartphone on its website, revealing similarities in design with its predecessor.
The new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is expected to be one of the first smartphones to feature the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Its design will feature dual cameras on the back and a flat display with slim bezels, although it may come in new color options.
Interestingly, the device made an appearance on China Telecom, showcasing its impressive specifications, including a colossal 7,550 mAh battery. If confirmed, this would set a new record for Xiaomi, outpacing the regular Turbo 4, which offers a substantial 6,550 mAh battery.
Additional features are expected to include a 50 MP + 8 MP dual camera setup, a vibrant 6.83” AMOLED display with a resolution of 1220p, and a robust body certified under IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The expected retail price listed by China Telecom is CNY 2,099, approximately $290 or €250. Enthusiasts won’t have to wait long to discover if these speculations hold true.
