Xiaomi has unveiled its latest wearable device in India, the Redmi Watch Move. Designed as an entry-level smartwatch, it comes packed with appealing features, including an AMOLED display and remarkable battery longevity, making it a compelling option in its price bracket.
The Redmi Watch Move boasts a 1.85” rectangular screen with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels, featuring a brightness of 600 nits—the highest in its segment, as claimed by Xiaomi. It's also noted for having the “smoothest” panel within this price range.
This smartwatch offers exceptional performance with a heart rate detection accuracy of 97% and impressive battery life, lasting up to 14 days with average use.
Powered by a 300 mAh battery and combined with HyperOS, the device can endure “two weeks on a single charge” under typical conditions. However, if the Always-On Display is enabled, the battery life will decrease to five days.
Users can choose from 5 watch face layouts with over 200 design options, many of which support AOD. With a local launch in India, festive designs celebrating cultural traditions and holidays are featured prominently.
Weighing just 25 grams without the strap (39 grams when the TPU band is attached), the Redmi Watch Move has a thickness of 10.8 mm and includes a functional crown button on the side. Moreover, it has an IP68 rating and supports the Hindi language due to its localized release.
Notable features include support for 140+ sports modes, automatic detection for 7 of those modes, Bluetooth calling, and comprehensive tracking of sleep, SpO2 levels, stress, and heart rate.
The Redmi Watch Move is priced at an attractive INR 1,999, roughly equivalent to $25 or €23. It will be available in four vibrant colors: Silver Sprint, Black Drift, Blue Blaze, and Gold Rush. Pre-orders will commence on April 24 at 12 PM local time through mi.com and Flipkart.
